ELOTEX ERA200 is efficient against primary and secondary efflorescence caused by the precipitation of water soluble salts on the surface of mineral binder. It acts as a multifunctional additive with several efflorescence-preventing mechanisms, which serve to reduce capillary connectivity, the size of efflorescence forming crystals, and water permeability.
ELOTEX®ERA200 maintains the aesthetics of building materials over time. Besides its efflorescence-reducing effect, it shows excellent wetting and mixing properties, as well as improvements in colour stability and brightness. Furthermore, it improves mortar rheology and increases surface hydrophobicity. ELOTEX ERA200 is easy to dose with very low dust formation.
Applications
Tile grouts (cement based); renders (cement): base coats, top coats (skim coats), one coat (monocouche); floor levelling compounds; brick layer mortars/stencil mortars. For any additional applications please contact your local consultant.
Storage
Store ELOTEX powder in a cool, dry place in original packalging at temperatures not exceeding 25 ℃ and process within six months after the date of delivery. Avoid contact with moisture and heat, and do not leave buckets open for an extended period, as this may result in blocking of the powder. If the product is stored for longer than six months after the date of delivery, users are advised to evaluate properties required for the intended use.

Standard packaging:10 kg plastic buckets. Other types of packaging are available on request.
Safety and handling
All individuals using ELOTEX powder or coming in contact with it are recommended to observe the separate Safety Data Sheets. Our safety specialists will be pleased to advise you ol the safety, health and environmental issues of our products. Powder processing:ELOTEX ERA200 can be blended inall commercial mixers with other dry additives to produce cement-based finished products in powder form. Significant temperature increases caused by strong shear forces should be avoided. All hydraulically and non-hydraulically curing dry mortars used with ELOTEX ERA200 can be easily mixed with water before application.
Additional information
Dosage and Mixing; the recommended dosage of ELOTEX ER200 is between 0.1 and 0.4%(weight % on dry mortar). Prolonged mixing time during dry mortar production should be avoided.
