Introduction
ELOTEX® SEAL81 is an encapsulated silane in powder form that provides excellent water-repellent properties on the surface and in mass of cementitious mortars The active ingredient of ELOTEX® SEAL81 is released when the mortar is mixed with water, and it subsequently binds covalently to the inorganic mortar matrix. Therefore, it offers long term durability and an excellent pearl effect. ELOTEX® SEAL81 is fully efficient in alkaline medium at pH > 10. It provides significant reduction in water uptake and improves adhesion ELOTEX® SEAL81 provides mortars with excellent wetting and mixing properties and is easy to dose with low dust formation. Furthermore, it has a long term shelf-life.

Storage
Store ELOTEX® powder in a cool, dry place in original packaging at temperatures not exceeding 25 °c and process within six months after the date of delivery. Avoid storing ELOTEX® powder under pressure, in damaged sacks, in contact with moisture or heat, or in sacks left open for an extended period, as this may result in blocking of the powder. If the product is stored for longer than six months after the date of delivery, users are advised to evaluate properties required for the intended use.
Packaging and transport
Standard packaging: 10 kg paper sacks with polyethylene liners. Other types of packaging, such as Big Bags, are available on request.
