Soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol, ether, acetone, insoluble in benzene, methyl ethyl ketone and chloroform. The light transmission band is 1.2 to 0.25 & mu; m, and the light transmittance is nearly 90%. The melting point of lithium formate monohydrate is 97 ° C, water loss at 120 ° C, crystal form conversion at 230 ° C, 270 ° C is the melting point of anhydrous lithium formate, CHCOOLi is decomposed into Li2 CO at 320 °C 3, C, H2O. |
Uses: Lithium formate crystals have high nonlinear coefficient, high optical damage threshold, wide transmission range, and extend to the ultraviolet, and the Nd:YAG laser 1.06μm laser can realize the characteristics of triple frequency and quadruple frequency. It is an excellent nonlinear optical crystal material and is also commonly used in battery manufacturing. |
