Properties: Orange crystal, heat decomposition, oxidizing, sealed and stored, soluble in water, methanol, slightly soluble in ethanol, acetone, specific gravity 2.149 (25 ° C, anhydrous).

Uses: Used as a corrosion inhibitor for lithium bromide air conditioners.
